Pennisetum thunbergii 'Red Buttons'
We love this little Pennisetum for it's tidy habit, unique red tinged inflorescences that fade to straw which keep right through to winter. It is super tough, handling drought, frosts and wet soils. A very versatile grass that can be used at the front of a border, looks great planted on mass or mixed through perennial plantings. Only requires a cut back in August otherwise it is very low maintenance.
