We now ship plants all over Australia (excl. WA & NT) via Australia Post.

Shipping starts from $17.50. Express post is available for interstate orders.

We process orders every Monday, so please allow up to 10 days for dispatch. Most orders with Tasmania take between 1-3 days from dispatch. and generally 3-5 days for interstate orders. We reserve the right to delay shipping during busy periods are extreme weather to ensure your plants do not spend too long in transit.

Packaging

We carefully package all our plants for safe transport. As much of our packaging as possible is 100% plant based and biodegradable, from the cardboard box to the paper tape, hex wrap and even the bags which are made from corn starch. Our pots are made from recycled materials and they too can be recycled.

Arrival & Plant Care

Live plants can look a little weary after their journey — this is completely normal. Foliage that may be starting to yellow after a lack of light, or slightly wilted or stressed from transit but they will recover once they are unpacked.  

Please unpack your order promptly upon arrival and give them a water if they look dry. Leaving plants sealed in their box can cause heat and moisture stress, especially in warmer months.

If your plants arrive damaged, please report this within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos showing the condition of the plants and packaging.

We take great care in selecting packaging materials suited to protecting live plants in transit, though we cannot guarantee outcomes beyond our control, such as carrier delays or extreme weather events.

Local delivery

We offer a local delivery service if you are within 25km of our nursery for $12.50. The Local Delivery option will be available if you input a shipping address in the accepted radius. Deliveries are generally made each Friday.

Local pickup from Nicholls Rivulet

You can pickup you plants from Aurora Perennials in Nicholls Rivulet.

We're about 40mins from Hobart, and 10mins from Cygnet.

You will be notified when your order is ready for collection, including pickup address via email.

Pickup Times:
Pickup times are from 10am Friday to 4pm Sunday.

What to bring:
While optional, we suggest you bring a box or bag for your plants to help transport them safely, as we don't provide these.

For any orders not collected, your plants will be returned to the nursery until we hear from you.
