Should my plants look like that?
We take great pride in every plant we grow, and we only select plants which are healthy and ready to be planted.
Many of our plants are winter dormant, meaning they die back over winter and re-shoot in the spring. If you receive a plant that is missing foliage, don't worry. Ideally we recommend you plant it as soon as possible in the soil so moisture is regulated naturally, and avoid leaving it in the pot which could lead to rotting or drying out.
Some varieties of plants can grow too large for shipping, or benefit from trimming to safeguard them from breakage. Some varieties may be trimmed when supplied, but they will bounce back quickly.
What if the plant is out of stock?
We are a small family run nursery and as such, we may not have every variety in our catalogue available every season.
If you are interested in a variety that is out of stock, click the Email me when available button. It helps us know what varieties people are after, and you'll receive an email notification as soon as it's back in stock.
Also look out for the Growing badge, this means that variety has been propagated and is being grown on in the nursery. Most plants marked Growing should come available in the next 4-12 weeks.
