Originating from Tibet through to Kashmir, this mat-forming perennial forms a dense carpet of narrow elliptic leaves. In summer cylindrical flowers on 20cm stems in colours of light pink which darken to deep rose pink before finally reaching almost red. It even has fantastic autumn foliage of rich golden orange and bronze russet tones. Great in full sun and under trees.
