A striking perennial with tall stems topped by golden globe-shaped flowers, blooming from spring through summer. Forms a narrow rosette of woolly-haired leaves. Thrives in moist yet well-drained soil, tolerates frost, dry spells, and coastal conditions. Grows from an underground rhizome, allowing it to reshoot if top growth dies back.
