Dierama pulcherrimum 'Blackbird'
Fairy Fishing Rods
The darkest of all Fairy Fishing Rods, Dierama pulcherrimum 'Blackbird' has deep claret-purple trumpets on long arching stems in Summer. It forms a dense mound of fine, grass-like evergreen foliage and is very drought tolerant once established. Can be easily weaved into mixed plantings where the blooms rise above and move gently in the breeze.
