Eryngium yuccifolium - Rattlesnake master
Rattlesnake master
Also known as "Rattlesnake Master", this tough perennial has thin, almost spiny, glaucous foliage with white thistle like flowers on tall stems to around 1m. Prefers a free draining sunny position but does well for us on our damp loamy clay soil that drains. They provide a wonderful architectural contrast in a mixed perennial garden.
