Mexican Hat
A hardy North American prairie perennial with distinctive sombrero-like flowers of red and yellow petals drooping from a tall central cone. Tolerant of heat, drought, and poor soils, it forms airy clumps to around 60–90 cm tall, flowering through summer into autumn.
