In late summer and autumn, ‘Orpheus’ bursts into clouds of violet-blue daisies with golden centres, creating a haze of colour that lasts for weeks. Its smooth, dark green foliage forms a tidy mound, while sturdy stems hold the blooms proudly above. A magnet for butterflies, this easy-care perennial combines beautifully with the golden hues of late season ornamental grasses and naturalistic planting schemes.
