Limonium latifolium

Also known as Sea Lavender, this form of Statice has soft clouds of tiny, papery lavender blooms, floating in large, airy heads. Highly prized by florists, it's often grown as a cut flower crop—but it’s just as valuable in home gardens. With its silvery-grey foliage and billowing, mist-like flowers which can be used to create an ethereal, soft effect normally achieved with grasses.
