This graceful, clump-forming perennial grows to around 60 cm, sending up branched stems above a neat rosette of slender, oval green leaves. In summer and autumn, each stem is tipped with a delicate, light purple, pincushion-like bloom—about 2 cm across—that dances in the breeze and draws the eye with its soft charm.
