Commonly known as meadow rue, is a tall, airy perennial with delicate, fern-like foliage similar to Aquilegias (hence the name aquilegiifolium) and fluffy clusters of lilac-pink flowers that bloom in late spring to early summer. It thrives in moist, partly shaded spots and adds a soft, romantic touch to garden borders.
